Leslie Fore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Vistoso Funeral Home on Jan. 27, 2026.
Leslie Renee Lynn Fore, 64, of Oracle, Arizona, passed from this life into eternity on January 20, 2026, following a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on October 12, 1961, in Berlin, Germany, Leslie grew up in a military family, relocating eleven times before the age of eighteen. Those early years shaped her adaptability, resilience, deep empathy and service to others.

Leslie pursued higher education at Purdue University and later earned her MBA from Clemson University. She spent nearly 25 years at Michelin Tire Company, serving in various management roles. In 2012, she retired and moved to Arizona with the love of her life, her husband Don.

Before retirement, Leslie lived for 30 years in Greenville, South Carolina, where she raised her children and built lifelong friendships. A constant presence in her family's life, she was a devoted mother and later a cherished grandmother, she embodied unconditional love, wisdom, comfort, and trust. She was their steady guide, their safe place, and their confidante.

While in retirement, Leslie was a distance swimmer for the Saddlebrooke Swim Team, traveled the world with Don, visited family near and far, and devoted herself to serving others. Leslie's faith was central to her life. At Santa Catalina Catholic Church, she was deeply involved in several ministries, including the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Mental Health Outreach, Social Awareness and Justice Ministry, Outreach to the Poor, and the Pastoral Council. Her service was quiet, tireless, and rooted in compassion.

Above all else, Leslie was the heart of her family - the listener, the encourager, the organizer, and the one everyone could count on. Her presence made people feel supported and loved.

Leslie is survived by her loving husband, Don Fore; her children, Christopher Scanlon (Amanda), Matthew Scanlon (Nora), Jessica Fore, and Brandon Fore; and her grandchildren, Bella Fore, Cash Fore, Kodi Fore, and Cole Scanlon. She is also survived by her brother, Craig Lynn (Laurie). She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Gloria Lynn.

A memorial Mass celebrating Leslie's life, faith, and love will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Santa Catalina Catholic Church - Poor Box Ministry, Tucscon, AZ in Leslie's name to honor her lifelong commitment to serving those most in need.

God has her in His arms. We have her in our hearts.

Don, my deepest condolences to you and your family.
I met Leslie in 1988. She was CA2 installing a computer system in the T warehouse. We became instant friends. We kept in touch over the years.
I emailed her in Oct on her birthday and included a picture on myself and my 5 grandchildren. She emailed me back and told me of her condition and included pictures of her family and grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy. Leslie and I became soul mates over the years. I piece of my soul has passed with Leslie. I will miss her dearly. Leslie was the most giving person that I ever knew.

So very saddened to hear of Leslie´s passing! She was a great manager and a wonderful influence in my life and career. We worked together on numerous successful and complex projects! Or as she called them, "opportunities for Joy." I will never forget having my first twizzler from a candy jar in her office. To this day, I still remember enjoying our conversations and twizzlers! Leslie was super smart, pretty, fair and caring. These are just a few words I think of to describe her. A great person, a servants heart. We had some great adventures too from trips to NY, Vegas to the Greenville ER once when Don was out of town. We had a lot of laughter! I´m so glad Leslie retired young and lived her life to the fullest and do the bucket list with Don. Praise Jesus for the promise of heaven. Deepest sympathy and prayers as you all navigate life without her. She definitely made an imprint. Love, Joy Holden
