Philip Burton Serlin
1938 - 2026
Philip Serlin Obituary
A graduate of Dartmouth College and Cornell Medical School, Philip served as an Air Force physician during the Vietnam War and practiced cardiology in Tucson for over three decades in private practice and on the University of Arizona faculty. Philip was an avid golfer, cyclist, and lifelong learner. He was also deeply involved in his community, as a member of Congregation Chaverim and volunteer with the Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.
He is survived by Jackie, his loving wife of 55 years; daughters Robyn Serlin and Michelle Serlin (Adam Hittelman); grandchildren Natalie, Daniel and Becky Hittelman; and sister, Jackie Chason. Philip's warmth, wisdom and compassion touched many lives. May his memory be a blessing.
