Robert L. Serlin

Robert Louis Serlin, age 79, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. Robert was born on August 19, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, to his loving parents Louis and Frances Serlin.
Robert was a hard worker putting in almost 40 years as a mechanical engineer for DTE. He was a part of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary for 10 years. Working and tinkering on his boat was a favorite past time when he wasn't spending time with his family. He stayed active with his daughter, going on walks and even participating in a 5K for Leader Dog's for the Blind. With his wife Kathryn he loved to travel and go on cruises. He was a huge dog lover, having owned many dogs over the years and adored his grand dogs. Cooking was also a fan of cooking and helping out in the kitchen.
Robert is the beloved husband of 57 years to Kathryn Serlin. The loving father of Cristina (Dave) Lalik, Rob (Michelle) Serlin, and Bill (Danielle) Serlin. Cherished grandfather of Kayla Lalik, Kevin Lalik, Julianna Serlin, Liam Serlin, and Natalie Serlin.
A visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary service at 7:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. An instate will occur Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 AM, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088.
In lieu of flowers any donations made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Leader Dogs for the Blind would be greatly appreciated.
