Eleanor Dugan, age 88, of Easton, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026. Eleanor was born in Bridgeport on February 14, 1938, to the late John and Helen (Hudak) VanKovics, and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Bassick High School and was employed by Dr. Charles Kilby, of Easton, for thirty years and retired after twenty years from Rehab Associates in Shelton, where she was an office administrator. Eleanor was an active member of St. John's Orthodox Church in Bridgeport. Survivors include her devoted son, John Dugan and his wife, Carol of Monroe; cousin, Mary Ann Pando of Stratford and her children, Susan and Michael; and dear friends, Norman and Joy Haller of Easton. Visitation on Tuesday, February 24th, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, followed by a Requiem Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, 364 Mill Hill Avenue, Bridgeport.
