Leslie Freeman

Mr. Leslie Stewart Freeman, age 77 of Canon, Ga., passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024 at a local nursing facility.

Leslie was born on December 27, 1946 to the late Mary Strickland Freeman and Stewart Freeman.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 34 years Mrs. Dale Freeman, daughter Dana Pearson (Jeffrey) Royston, Stepson Nick Adams, Grandchildren Cody Bell (Mary) Cameron Bell (Kayla), Gage Bell,  Madison Bell (Jay), Ava Pearson, Lacy Pearson, Great Grandchildren Adalyn Bell, Lakelyn Bell, Kashton Burns. Nephew Rick Freeman (Kellie), Several Nieces and Nephews, Brother, Ricky Freeman (Susan) of Bowman.

He worked as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed his tractors, farming, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in Vietnam.

The funeral service will be held at Canon United Methodist Church on Sunday November 10, 2024 at 3:00 with Rev. Tony Franks officiating. Burial will be in Bowers Memorial Park in Canon.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday November 9, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00. At other times the family will be at the home, 521 Cawthon Road in Canon, Ga.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
