Margie Lynn Thacker

Margie Lynn Wade Thacker, age 78 of Commerce Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025. Margie was born on June 28, 1947 in Talladega Alabama to the late Mr. Alfred Wade  and Mrs. Vera Yarborough. She worked as a business owner in the produce and retail industry. Margie was a member of Bethel Temple Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Joe Neal Thacker,  her daughter Tessa Croy, brother Dewy Wade and Floyd Bittle. 

Margie is survived by her son Alfred L. McWatters, Jr.,  siblings Ed Wade, Bill Wade, Margaret Mills, Donnie Wade, Darryl Wade, grandchildren Eshla Anderson, Kami Prine, Terrell Prine Jr, Alexis Gresham, Destiny McWatters, and Faith Smith. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
