Ronald Walter Thacker

In the early morning hours of December 3, 2025 Ronald Walter Thacker passed away unexpectedly and peacefully. Ron was a devoted husband to the love of his life Sherry. Born July 20, 1950 in Stettler, Alberta Canada to Roy and Elizabeth (Symes) Thacker. Ron was an avid golfer, loved to dance, travel, dress up for Halloween, decorate the golf cart for Christmas and dress as Santa with Mrs. Claus and ride in the park parade and especially wintering in Yuma, AZ. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother Donald and brother Bob, sisters Cathy, Faye and Eileen. He is survived by his son Ronnie Jr (Tina) Thacker and daughter Shannon (Neal) Ogloff of British Columbia. Sisters, Denise, Diana and Debbie. Several nieces and nephews. Granddaughters Breanna and Braylin, Grandson Brody, Great-grandsons Kingston, Laramie and Lochlan. Ron will be remembered by many loving friends from throughout his life.
