Lester Nicholas "Chuck" Stevenson II

1982 - 2023

We are sad to announce the passing of Lester "Chuck" Nicholas Stevenson II. Born July 25, 1982, to the late Lester Nicholas Stevenson Sr. and Carol Ann Walker-Stevenson, he passed away at 41 years old in New Orleans, Louisiana December 28, 2023. "Chuck", "Chucky", "Chuck-Millz", was God-fearing, funny, affectionate, sociable (social butterfly), casino winner and genuinely loved family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Chuck had a gentle soul, a giving heart, and exceptional swag. He would literally give the shirt off his back to help another person in need. Lester attended New Orleans public schools and was last employed by The Creole Queen Boat. He's preceded in death by his father Lester Nicholas Stevenson Sr., brother Lester "Boss Hog" William Stevenson, grandparents Rita Mae (Frank) Waits, Marie Davis (Arthur) Stevenson, aunt Shenelle Walker-Blank, uncles Lionel Davis, John Stevenson, George "OG" Blue, cousins Thomas Walker, Brandon Davis, Demone Robinson, David Walker Jr., great cousins, and great-grandparents. Lester leaves behind to cherish his memories with his only son Lester (Chunky Dooka) Donavan Stevenson III, mother Carol Ann Walker-Stevenson and Cynthia Walker Shezbie, sisters Leslie Ann Stevenson (Brian "Big Baby") Glover-Darby, Carla Ann Stevenson (Darnell "Duicey") Peters, nieces Ceiontay, Lundyn, Lyric, Logan, nephews Darnell, Ta'Michael, Deiontay, La'Brian, La'Rian, great niece Cyn'Cere, great nephew Kyedan and Kaizer, and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Please join us in Celebrating his Life Saturday January 13, 2024, for 10:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, Louisiana 70126. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Rev Leonard Vincent, officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 8200 Airline Drive Metairie Louisiana, 70003.
