Leta spent her career as a talented Mechanical Assembler, working for Raytheon Aerospace. She was a dedicated and hardworking individual who took great pride in her work. She received her education at the high school level and was known for her intelligence, kindness, and devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John P. Downs Sr., her daughter, Selina A. (Eduardo) Cidade and sister, Charlotte Dickinson.
Leta is survived by her children, John P. Downs III (Livingston, TX) and Charles P. Downs, two grandchildren & five great-grandchildren and many other cherished relatives and friends.
Leta's funeral arrangements are being handled by Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, Monaca, PA. All arrangements are private per Leta's request.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
