Leta Johnson Obituary
Leta Carline Johnson, 88, of Sawyer’s Mill, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Johnson was born March 30, 1935 in Benton County to the late Garvin and Myrtle Hicks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billie Johnson; son, Terry Johnson; brothers, Aubrey Hicks, Dwayne Hicks, and Marshall Hicks; sisters, Velma Stigall and Clatie Stigall. Mrs. Johnson was a retired seamstress from H.I.S. where she worked for 42 years. After retirement, Mrs. Johnson continued her excellent work ethic, hand quilting countless quilts, sewing, gardening, and cooking. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and dear lady.

Grandchildren: John David Taylor, Billy Taylor, and Carlin (Brandon) Bush

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Point Cemetery.
