Obituary of Letha Lynette Sistrunk Heckford

Funeral services for Letha Lynette Sistrunk Heckford are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Bonne Idee Assembly with Bro. Jerry Stuckey officiating. A time of visitation will be held Sunday from 2 PM - 3 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Heckford, a retired Teacher and member of Bonne Idee Assembly, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the age of fifty-two. Mrs. Heckford enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her dogs, actually dogs in general. She was a joyful person all of the time and loved her family, her church family, and the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Drew Randall Heckford; son, Mason Blake Heckford; brother, Dewayne Sistrunk and wife, Kristie; brothers-in-law, Ernie Heckford and wife Karen, Clyde White and wife, Ava, Jonathan White; sister-in-law, Della McGee and husband, Tommy; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; best friend, Amy Smith; and cousin, Christina Flores, aka "Fred".

Mrs. Heckford is preceded in death by parents, Donald and Esther Sistrunk; grandparents, Blake Shockey, Woodrow Sistrunk, and Amber Lee Sistrunk.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Andrew Sistrunk, Jonathan White, Clay Robinson, Justin Pritchett, Butch Sistrunk, Paul Sistrunk. Chase Pritchett will serve as honorary pallbearer, along with Brandon Sistrunk.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Golden Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
