Letha Troemmler Obituary

TROEMMLER, Letha Foster, passed away January 24, 2009, at the age of 89. Originally from Nokesville, Va., she lived in Vienna, Va., for 40 years, and was currently a resident of the Morningside Assisted Living Community in Richmond, Va. Letha was preceded in death on July 25, 2005 by her husband of 64 years, Frederick A. Troemmler. She is survived by one son, Larry Foster Troemmler and his wife, Jeannie, of Richmond; one daughter, Susan Lee Troemmler, of Danville, Va.; one grandson, Kevin P. Troemmler of Charlotte, N.C.; one granddaughter, Amy L. VandeSand and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey VandeSand, of Richmond; and one great-grandson, Brayden Foster VandeSand. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd., Manassas. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009 in the Baker-Post Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Clinton Owens officiating. A musical prelude of recorded piano solos by Letha will begin at 1 p.m., prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery, Nokesville, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Letha's memory to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, under the direction of Michael Post. Please sign the guest book at www.bakerpostfh.com.
