Mae Wise, 84, of Fort Collins, Colorado died in Loveland, Colorado on April 4th, 2024.
She was born in Sturgis, South Dakota in 1939 to Evan "Duke" Jones and Bernice Jones, and moved to Cheyenne as an infant. She spent most of her school years in Fort Collins with her five siblings. She was an avid CSU Ram Fan, Denver Broncos Fan, and very involved with Fort Collins youth baseball.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents Evan "Duke" Jones and Bernice Jones, her husband Don Wise, her brother Jack Jones, her son Jim Hatten, her daughter Jonna (Hatten) Bradshaw, and her stepson Tony Wise. She is survived by her son Jerry Hatten, her daughter Janell Moore (Beau Ferris), her stepchildren Mike Wise (Shelley), Theresa Reynolds (Greg), Angela Ferguson (Steve), her brothers Larry Jones (Cheryl), Bill Jones (Sue), Dick Jones (Sharon), her sister Patricia Moon (Dan Vredenburg), her sister-in-law Jane Jones, her brother-in-law Steve Wise (Manella), her son-in-law Kevin Bradshaw, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
An open house Celebration of Life will be held on April 20th, 2024 at 718 E 23rd St, Loveland, CO 80538, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
