Leticia Gerardo passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 60 where she resided in Austin, Texas.
Letty was born in El Paso, Texas on October 4, 1964, to parents Margarita and Ernesto Gerardo.
She had a passion for music, specifically the Beatles and the Jazz genre. She was beautifully artistic, a great dancer, storyteller and had such a stylish flair. Letty had a love for the outdoors and nature. She attended Jefferson High School class of 1983 and attended the University of Texas in El Paso. During her high school years, she was a member of the drama club and track team. Letty was employed by Spectrum as a Retention Specialist.
Letty was witty, funny, amiable, creatively artistic and hardworking. Letty was passionate about people, animals and things she loved.
Letty is survived by her parents, Ernesto and Margarita Gerardo; her sisters, Sylvia Hernandez (husband Reymundo) and Isela Silva (husband Fernando); her brother Roberto Gerardo (wife Yvette) and is preceded in death by her brother Ernesto Gerardo, Jr. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Ohno.
"Grief, we've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go." We love you Leticia Gerardo.
