I was deeply saddened to learn of Letitia´s passing. She and her husband John were our neighbours in Hunts Point, Nova Scotia, Canada, and were held in high regard by my family. Letitia would often stop by our home, always making her presence known with a cheerful announcement that became part of our household rhythm. She and my mother shared a warm friendship over many years.
Letitia was a gifted artist and an inquisitive, thoughtful soul - a woman of talent, intelligence, and grace. She represented the finest qualities of a great American and a remarkable human being.
Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
