AUTRYVILLE

Mrs. Lettie Lou Bullard Gray, 92 of Autryville, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

The funeral will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Mount Carmel Church of God of Prophecy, 1655 Mount Carmel Church Road, Autryville with Bishop Bryan Strickland and Rev. Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery.

She was born February 1, 1933 in Cumberland County and was the daughter of Paul Vernon and Leeanna Jane Smith Bullard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Scott Williams, Earl Tyndall and Rheudolph Gray; sisters, Eloise Barrick, Bonnie Mae Westray; and brother, Kirby Bullard. She retired from Burlington Mills and was a member of Mount Carmel Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by her son, Laurice Williams, Sr. and wife, Becky of Autryville; grandchildren, Junior Williams and Cheryl of Autryville, Dawn Walters and husband, Dickie of Salemburg, Brooke Strickland and husband, Bryan of Autryville; great grandchildren, Whitney Williams, Gavin Williams, Gabby Walters, Abigail Walters, Bentley Strickland, Brody Strickland; sister, Dorothy Royal of Autryville; brothers, Vernon Bullard and wife, Emma Jean of Roseboro, Vonnie Ray Bullard, Murray Bullard and wife, Joy of Roseboro, William Bullard and wife, Susie of Roseboro; sister-in-law, Edna Bullard of Roseboro; six step-children and their families; numerous nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Tina Brand.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm Friday evening at the Mount Carmel Church Family Life Center and other times at her home.

Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to Mount Carmel Church, 1615 Mount Carmel Church Road, Autryville, NC 28318 for “Women’s Ministries.”

The family would like to thank Liberty Hospice for their excellent care and compassion given.

Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro.
