Levi Cairnes Obituary
Levi's legacy is inspiring. He had an adventurous spirit with a heart that never stopped giving. He was a man with a beautiful soul, filled to overflowing with life. His heart's desire was to build a bright future, not just for himself, but for the people who meant everything to him. His dreams, his ambitions, and his devotions shined as bright as his unforgettable smile.
His greatest joy in life was his son Gage, whom he adored with a love that was pure and unwavering. He poured his whole heart into everything he did, endeavoring to live his best life to pass that on to his son: his love of fishing, gardening, foraging, working on vehicles of all types, carpentry, learning family history and stories, helping others etc.
Levi is survived in life by not only Logan and Chloe but by his half-sister Anna, his half-brother, "Little T", his son Gage, his mother Ruth Cairnes, his father Justin Hewitt, his maternal grandparents, Russ and Beverly McBrayer, who lovingly raised him since two, and his grandmother, Susan Hewitt.
To honor Levi and to give everyone connected to his life the opportunity to remember, honor, and be inspired by his legacy, the following arrangements have been made:
Visitation will be at Crawford / Ray Funeral Home located at 7 North Main Street, Canton, NC from 1:30-2:30 pm on Saturday, December 6, 2025. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Morning Star Community Cemetery, located beside Morning Star Methodist Church located at 2535 Dutch Cove Rd., Canton, NC
A celebration of his life is continuing to be planned and will be announced at a later date.
Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Cairnes family.
