Levi Lemons, Jr., a beloved member of the community, passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on November 11, 1932, in Aremerell, Arkansas, Levi was known for his friendly disposition and genuine care for others. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954, after which he devoted many years to operating a liquor store, earning the respect and admiration of many.
Levi was a family-oriented man who cherished spending time with his loved ones. He thoroughly enjoyed having family gatherings, hunting, fishing, and BBQing, activities that brought joy and warmth to his life. His personality radiated kindness and love, making him a steadfast figure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Robinson of Potosi, Missouri and Thomas of Saint Louis, MO, Patrice Cunningham of Saint Louis, MO, Pansy Lemons of Potosi, MO, and Roselyn Lemons of Houston, MO. His son, Kevin Lemons, also survives him. Levi's legacy continues through his sister, Geneva Wilson and Webster of Kansas City, MO, along with an extensive family of 30 grandchildren and 157 great and great great grandchildren who will remember him fondly.
Levi was preceded in death by his mother, Cora (Jones) Lemons, his father, Levi Lemons Sr., and his sons, John, Val, Russell, Terry, Robert, and Cedric Lemons.
Levi Lemons, Jr. will be remembered not only for his business acumen but also for his unwavering love for his family and the community he served. He leaves behind a rich legacy of warmth, generosity, and the cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
