Levi Stear Obituary
New Waterford - Levi Stear, age 24, of New Waterford, died on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center.
He was born on June 28, 2001, in Youngstown, the son of Scott Stear and Leeanne Superak Stear.
Levi was a graduate of Crestview High School and received his bachelor’s degree in construction engineering from YSU where he enjoyed competing in the engineering estimating competition.
He was currently working as a project manager for Yarian Brothers Construction in Columbiana. Levi loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, trap shooting, camping and playing softball. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his family, close friends and his beloved cats. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his father, Scott (April) Stear of New Waterford; mother, Leeanne Stear of Columbiana; three sisters, Bella Ciapala of Columbiana, Kathryn (Grant) Cooper of Greenville, SC, Whitney (Sam) Krotz of Pittsfield, IL; brother, Hunter Cresanto of Poland; maternal grandfather, Bill Superak of Columbiana; paternal grandfather, John (Char) Stear of Marienville, PA; paternal grandmother, Phyllis (Ross) Porter of Columbiana; step paternal grandfather, Mark (Joan) Beight of East Palestine; step paternal grandmother, Stacey (Frank) Price of Columbiana; two nieces, two nephews and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Debbie Superak and a cousin, Kendyl Davis.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
Memorial donations may be made in Levi’s memory to: Angels for animals, 4750 W South Range Rd, Canfield, OH 44406.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
