Lewis Duncan Obituary

An avid outdoorsman, Lewis was the president of the Sportsman Gun and Reel Club for many years and a member of the Izaak Walton League. He enjoyed duck and rabbit hunting as well as archery and trap shooting. A true family man, he cherished the time that he spent with those he loved most and would often include his family in his outdoor adventures.
Survivors include his children, Laura Jimenez, Pearlean Kennell, and Lewis Duncan Jr.; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by his beloved wife Laura (Leach) Duncan; a daughter, Mary Adkins; son, Thomas Duncan; grandsons Antonio Jimenez and Andrew Duncan Mate; sister Juanita Crow; and brother, Robert Duncan.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery with full military honors. Eastman Funeral Home of New London is honored to assist Lewis's family with their arrangements. On-line condolences may be made by visiting www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
