It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Lewis "Luke" Robert Lock Jr., 71, of Harrison City, on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. Luke loved the Lord and lived his life in faith. He is now with his Lord and Savior, free of pain and made whole. Luke was born on Aug. 17, 1954, in Greensburg, a son of Ellen (McCready) Lock of Jeannette and the late Lewis Robert Lock Sr. In addition to his mother, Luke is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 53 years, and sweetheart since 10 years old, Joyce; two sons, Lewis "Luke" Lock III (wife Brookelyne) and David Richard Lock (wife Jennifer); five grandchildren, Tyler, Bryson, Allyson, Breanna, and Jaxon; five brothers, Kenny, Donald, Robert, Roy, and Kevin Lock, and their families; sister, Barbara Stewart; and numerous nieces and nephews. Luke was a graduate of Jeannette High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during Vietnam and had worked as a self-employed carpenter by trade. He was also a member of the church in Sutersville. Luke had many outdoor interests and was an avid hunter and enjoyed boating. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, at LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City, 724-744-2721.
