Lewis Maneely

Lewis Maneely of Philadelphia passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 82. Affectionately known as Lou, he was born November 15, 1940, in Philadelphia to the late Lewis and Mary (nee Maminski) Maneely. Lou was the beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Conway), loving father of Laurie Carter and her husband Joe, Debbie Baker and her husband Bill, Lewis and his wife Denise, and Gary and his wife Alexis. Dear grandfather of William Baker, Rob Baker and his wife Gabrielle, Brianna Maneely, Lewis Maneely, Tom Ditro and his wife Brianna, Matthew Carter, Kaitlyn Carmella Carter, Mackenzie Maneely, Morgan Maneely and Jordan Maneely; great grandfather of Jason Hernandez, Nick, Jaylen, Peyton, Reyna and Archer Baker, Gabriel Maneely, and Macklin and Logan Ditro, and he is the brother-in-law of Margaret Maneely. Lou was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley and James Maneely, his granddaughter Dana Baker, and his nephews, Stan and Jamy Maneely.
Lou was a truck driver for over 40 years, and a member of the Teamster Union. He enjoyed his early morning tee time at Juanita Golf Course, fishing, playing darts, and being walked by his dog, Nakita.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in Lou's Life Celebration on Monday, January 30, 2023, starting 9:00 AM, followed by his memorial mass at 10:00 AM at Nativity BVM Church 2335 Allegheny Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lewis' memory to the Survivors Fund 11630 Caroline Rd., Phila, PA 19154 would be appreciated. Family service by John F.
