1938 - 2024

LEXIE STACY WEBB, 85 of Grundy, VA, reached her eternal Heavenly home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA. Lexie was surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 5, 1938, in Grundy, VA, Lexie was the daughter of Tom and Gusty (Dales) Stacy of Grundy, VA. Lexie grew up on Harman alongside her beloved brothers and sisters.
Lexie married the love of her life, James Russell "Jim" Webb. Together they had four children, Mike, David, Ronna and Michelle. She was a wonderful homemaker, an excellent cook and a loving and dutiful wife and mother. Her red velvet cakes and chocolate pies were always a family favorite. She loved to cook meals and feed her family. Lexie loved to watch cooking shows and listening to country music. Her laugh was contagious.
Lexie was a wonderful "Ning" to her grandkids. She wasn't granny, mamaw or grandmother. She was our "Ning."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Russell "Jim" Webb; Son-in-Law: Tommy Daugherty; Siblings: Woodrow Stacy, Roger Stacy, Harold Stacy, Orcie Cecil Stacy, Sytha Kiser and one infant sibling.
Those left to cherish her memory include 2-Sons: James Michael "Mike" Webb and wife Debbie of Pounding Mill, VA, David Webb and wife Vivian of Big Rock, VA; 2-Daughters: Ronna Daugherty (Brian Vandyke) of Castlewood, VA, Michelle Phillips and husband Don of Richlands, VA; 4-Grandchildren: Billy Daugherty, Terry Belcher Jr., Adrienne Webb and Cassidy Phillips; 1-Great-Grandchild: Temperance Storme Daugherty.
Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the ICU Staff at Clinch Valley Medical Center. Their care and compassion will never be forgotten.
Friends called at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Saturday evening at 6:00 P.M.
Funeral Services for LEXIE STACY WEBB were conducted Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shea Shrader and Tony Lowe officiating. Burial followed in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
Active Pallbearers were Jack McCoy, Terry Belcher Jr., Don Phillips, Rex Green, Johnny Lane and Brian Vandyke.
Honorary Pallbearers were Burlin Ratliff, the ICU Staff at Clinch Valley Medical Center.
