Lianne Catherine Chase, a resident of Stow, passed away Wednesday, April 16th at her home. She was sixty-two years old.
Born in Concord, MA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Lorraine (Russell) Chase. She was raised and grew up in Stow. She lived in Schenectady, New York for a time before moving back to Massachusetts, settling in Hudson. She worked hard to provide for her children, spending more than 20 years at Stop and Shop as well as Buscemi's Market. As an avid animal lover, she loved her many cats throughout her lifetime, most recently Squeak. She enjoyed trips to New Hampshire, whether it was relaxing at her timeshare or camping. More than anything, Lianne loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Lianne is lovingly survived by her three children, Michael Gilfus, Nicholas Gilfus and Katherine Gilfus. She was the loving grandmother of Daidon and Hanley. She also leaves her siblings, Sherry Graham and Wayne Chase.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday, April 21st from 4:00-6:00PM in the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111) Acton. Those who wish may make memorial donations in memory of Lianne to the Hydrocephalus Association, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 905, Bethesda, MD 20814-4447.
