It is with profound sadness that we announce beloved sister, daughter, and friend Licia Rae Brammer passed away on August 10th, 2025, in Lacey, Washington. A kind and compassionate soul, she will be dearly missed by many. A service will be held in her honor on September 20, 2025, at the Friendly Meetinghouse located at 3201 Boston Harbor Rd, NE Olympia 98506 at 1PM.

Born on June 25th, 1984, in Olympia, Washington, to Gladys Hedgers and Jim Peissner. She was raised in Olympia by her Mamma and two special Dads, Dave Brammer and James Hedgers. She struggled with a mental health condition and had dropped out of high school. She worked at Emerald Queen Casino for a few years before her condition took over. Licia struggled with schizoaffective disorder. Many years later after assistance with medical providers, she decided to go to SPSCC and not get her GED but earn her high school diploma. She then went back and would go on to earn her associates degree and nearly complete her bachelor's until her mental condition again prevented her from finishing it. She did get herself into an apartment for her and Batman and maintain her job as a part time server at Burger King. While she was a local to the Olympia/Lacey area most of her life, she loved her time spent living in Ocean Shores.

She was a very dedicated dog mom who would give her whole world to her furry companion Batman. As a prepared pet parent, Licia always stocked up on plenty of supplies for Batman. He accompanied her almost every time she went out and she especially loved camping with him. Any day she could get fresh air with Batman was a perfect day for her.

Licia is survived by her parents Gladys and James Hedgers, Dave Brammer and Jim Peissener; her brothers Isaiah Guthrie, LeRoy Hedgers, and Briar Brammer; her sisters Cheyenne Glandon, Ashley Hedgers, and Ash Thomas; numerous cousins and her ever loyal companion Batman who is living with her Momma and Bonus Dad James. She is preceded by in death by her brother David Brammer; and her grandparents Darlene Christianson, Lorena Graham, Paul Brammer.

Though she has departed from this world, her memory will forever live on in the lives she touched with her kindness.
