Survivors include her daughter, Marsha B. Wilson (Jimmy); son, Terry D. Baker (Nita); sisters, Carol Rupp, Lois Allison and Sheila Fincham (Brian); four grandchildren, Heather Tatum (Will), Melinda Williams (Charlie), Aliska Eaton (Clay), Steven Baker (Elizabeth), nine great-grandchildren, Rhiley and Emmalee; Alyssa, Carlie and Ella Claire; Trent and Lily; Madelyn and Guy; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Lila was a member of Callaway Baptist in LaGrange. She loved the Lord with all her heart and led a life that was a testimony of that. Lila was a strong and determined lady despite her age and size, and enjoyed shopping, doing her yard work and watching the Atlanta Braves up until she was unable to do so anymore. She was greatly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus,GA. Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm.
