On Friday, February 6, 2026, the Lord gently called His faithful servant, Lillian Faye Arnold, home to her eternal rest. Surrounded by the love of her family and the grace of God, she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life into everlasting glory.

Mrs. Lillian Faye was born on November 3, 1953, in Cartersville, Georgia, to the late Elijah Carson and Grace D. Carson. From a young age, she displayed a quiet strength, a loving spirit, and a heart devoted to faith and family. She was educated in the Bartow County School System and was a proud graduate of Summer Hill High School, where she formed friendships and memories that would last a lifetime.

Lillian accepted Christ at an early age and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her life. She was a devoted and faithful member of Mt. Zion Grassdale Missionary Baptist Church, where she worshiped wholeheartedly and trusted God in every season. Her life reflected her belief that with the Lord as her shepherd, she would never be in want.

For several years, Lillian was employed at Townsend Park Health and Rehabilitation. She served with compassion and dedication until declining health required her to step away. Even then, her nurturing spirit and servant's heart continued to shine within her home and family.

On July 25, 1970, fifty-four beautiful years ago, Lillian united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Larry Arnold. Their union was one of enduring love, partnership, and devotion. Together, they built a strong foundation rooted in faith and were blessed with five beautiful children who became the pride and joy of her life.

Lillian's greatest happiness came from spending time with her family. Whether gathered around the table sharing a meal she lovingly prepared, sitting quietly piecing together her favorite puzzles, or sewing with careful hands and creative flair, she found joy in life's simple pleasures. Her home was filled with warmth, comfort, and the unmistakable feeling of being loved.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her devoted husband, Larry Arnold, Sr.; five children, Larry Arnold, Jr., Timothy Arnold, Evangelia Applin (Andre), Kelly Arnold, and Lashana McDaniel (Steven); one sister, Brenda Carter; one brother, Aaron Carson (Dorothy); thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one upcoming great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews who will forever hold her love in their hearts.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her legacy of faith, strength, love, and kindness will continue to live on in the lives she touched. She will truly be missed but never forgotten.

Her favorite scripture reminds us of her unwavering faith:

Psalm 23: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."

Well done, thy good and faithful servant.
