Lillian Schumann Bargfrede

Lillian Schumann Bargfrede, age 90 of Seguin, passed away on November 1, 2024. Lillian was born in McQueeney, Texas on March 21, 1934 to Melinda (Reinhard) and Willie Schumann.
Lillian is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Walter E. Bargfrede, Jr., her parents, sister, Vivian Krause and husband Raymond, brother William Schumann, and brothers-in-law, Walter Lampmann and Edward Bargfrede.
Survivors include her daughter Carol Ronshausen and husband Gary; son, Rodney Bargfrede and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Gary Wayne Ronshausen and wife Ashley, Shawn Ronshausen and wife Erin, Caleb Bargfrede and wife Cady, and Cameron Bargfrede and girlfriend Brittany Largent; great-grandchildren, Jäger Ronshausen, Dakota Bargfrede, Hadley Ronshausen, and Kylie Miller; sisters-in-law, Barbara Lampmann and Betty Bargfrede; several nieces, nephews, other loving family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Judith Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Wayne Ronshausen, Caleb Bargfrede, Shawn Ronshausen, Cameron Bargfrede, Steven Krause, and Chad Krause. Honorary pallbearers will be Jager Ronshausen, Dakota Bargfrede, and Hadley Ronshausen.
