David Earl Hyde, 53, of Seguin, Texas, passed away on March 16, 2026.
David was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Kelly Hyde, with whom he shared 20 years of marriage. He was known for his unwavering dedication to her and to those he loved. He built a meaningful career in Information Technology, serving with Navarro ISD and later continuing with Judson ISD, where his hard work and commitment made a lasting impact.
Outside of his career, David enjoyed science fiction and superheroes, and he took great pride in maintaining his homestead alongside Kelly—caring for animals and making plants grow. His playful, goofy spirit brought laughter to those around him, and his hardworking nature and loyal heart defined the way he lived his life.
David is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kelly Hyde, and his beloved stepdaughter. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his dedication to his family, and the love he gave so freely. He leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort to all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed.
