Lillian Geneva Eldridge
August 4, 1934 -- February 17, 2023
In the early morning hours of Friday, February 17th, Lillian Geneva Eldridge peacefully entered into her rest at her home in New Tazewell, TN.
Lovingly known as "Mom" by many who knew her, she exemplified that title through her tireless care for so many throughout her 88 years. All that knew her, knew that she had an unbelievable work ethic, whether she was running a drive-in in Ewing VA or talking to locals at the Sonic Video store in Tazewell. She had a smile that would light up a room and a memory that would rival any local historian. She loved her family so much and there was never a moment they doubted it. She was always giving of herself, as much as she possibly could, never asking anything in return.
She is deeply loved and deeply missed.
Lillian is predeceased by her parents, Willis & Minnie Hatfield; brothers Grover, Bill, Ernest, Austin, Chester, & Lowell Hatfield, and husband Porter Eldridge. She is survived by her son, Rick Eldridge of Rochelle IL; daughter Cindy (Bob) Seals of New Tazewell TN; sisters Sue (Franklin) Ramsey of Rochelle IL, Minnie Surber of Rose Hill VA; brothers, Douglas Hatfield of Rockford IL, Arvil (Tina) Hatfield of Rochelle IL, Gary (Elaine) Hatfield of Ewing VA; grandchildren Stacy (Ryan) Blackburn, Chris (Spring) Eldridge, and Jon Seals; great-grandchildren Layla Seals, Abigayle, Kylee, Joshua, & Colton Eldridge, and Jacob, Aubry, & Austin Blackburn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life and Internment Service will be announced at a later date.
