Lillian Ann Farrington of Hingham, formerly a longtime resident of Long Island, NY, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025. She was 87.
She was born in the Bronx, NY to Jennie Constance (Basilone) and Rudolph Nagel. She worked as a payroll administrator for the Shoreham Wading River Central School District for many years.
Lillian was a spirited and adventurous soul who found joy in every corner of the world. She loved to travel, explore new places, and embrace life’s surprises with curiosity and courage. At home, she delighted in quiet moments spent working on puzzles and watching the birds she so admired. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
Beloved wife of 14 years to the late Richard Edward Farrington. Devoted mother to Doug Farrington and his wife Diane of Hingham and Robert Farrington and his wife Jenn of Columbia, CT. Adoring grandmother to Bryan, Kevin, Rheanne, and Gregory Farrington. Loving sister to Judy Nagel and her husband Richard of Southington, CT.
Lillian’s family will be holding a private burial at a later date.
