Lillian Virginia Griffith, 78 years, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 in the ChristianaCare Union Hospital of Elkton, MD. Born June 25, 1947 in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Asa and Alice May Reed Coulson.

Lillian was formerly employed by Constar Plastics of Havre de Grace, MD, as a forklift operator. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Donald Lewis Griffith, Sr; sons, Donald Lewis Griffith, Jr., and Joseph Albert Griffith, II; daughters, Pamela Mae Hasse and Sherri Lynn Collins; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Mark W. Coulson of Conowingo, MD, and George H. Coulson of Boca Raton, FL; sisters, Lois J. Ray and husband, Jim, of Lititz, PA, Alice E. Rothgeb of Williamsport, PA, and Mary C. Moody-Hunt and husband, Roger, of Lancaster, OH.

In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her brothers, David E. Coulson, John C. Coulson, and infant brother, Lewis A. Coulson, Jr.; and sister, Ellen R. Thomas.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Monday, January 26, 2026, 6 PM until 8 PM, and Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of the Principio Methodist Church of Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Principio Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
