Lillian Helen Grzyb

Lillian Helen Grzyb, 85, of Ford River, MI passed away peacefully Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Kenosha Place, Kenosha, WI.
She was born April 16, 1939 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Frank and Bernice (Potempa) Kida, living in Tinley Park, IL, before settling in Ford River, MI.
Before her retirement, Lillian had worked as a waitress at Dandrino's Restaurant and Jardine's Restaurant and was also a member of St. George Catholic Church in Tinley Park, IL.
Lillian enjoyed gardening and vacationing with her family.
On October 20, 1962, Lillian married George Grzyb in Chicago, IL, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2018.
Survivors include her two children, John (Catherine) Grzyb of Trevor, WI and Laura Bresnik of Tinley Park, IL; three grandchildren, Melody Lynn Grzyb, Kyle John Grzyb, and Nicole Bresnik; two siblings, Barbara Briseno of Ft. Myers, FL, and Daniel Kida of New Lenox, IL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband George, Lillian was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Mitchell Kida.
Services were held in Antioch, IL on Monday, January 20, 2025. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Bark River Cemetery with Rev. Darryl Pepin officiating.
Memorials may be made in Lillian's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
