Sharon Rose Wery

Sharon Rose Wery, 78, of Wilson, passed away on Friday evening, October 3, 2025 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
She was born on March 13, 1947 in Bark River, daughter to Theodore and Elsie (Pirlot) DeGrave. Sharon attended Wilson Seventh-Day Adventist Junior Academy and graduated from Wisconsin Academy.
On October 11, 1970, the former Sharon DeGrave married NorBert Earl Wery in Wilson. They shared nearly 55 years of marriage and were blessed with four children.
For 14 years, Sharon and NorBert owned and operated a Dairy Farm in Porterfield, WI before returning to Wilson with their family.
She loved sewing and making aprons, bibs, clothing for their daughters, and even created her own wedding gown. Sharon enjoyed gardening, playing games, and was a wonderful artist.
Sharon was a member of the Wilson Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Among survivors include her husband, NorBert of Wilson; four children, NorBert Jr. (Fiance', Khone Khun) of Ooltewah, TN, Melvin Wery of Bark River, Deborah (Kevin) Boerschinger of Wilson, and Barbra (Scott) Sterling of Wilson; grandchildren, Solomon Boerschinger, Vincent Sterling, Nadine Sterling, Desmond Heyn, Elijah Boerschinger, Zebulun Boerschinger, Ezra Boerschinger, Rithysak Khun, and Malaki Khun; and brother, Marvin DeGrave of Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Drake Wery and sisters, Shirley Gay, Carol Dow, and Diane Ondrejka.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 9th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Wilson Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The service will take place at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Tony Ludwig officiating. (All Eastern Times) Burial will immediately follow and then a meal will be served at the Wilson Seventh-Day Adventist Junior Academy.
