Lillian Elaine Helson, age 78, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at Comforts of Home in Hudson, Wisconsin.
She was born on August 8, 1947, and lived a happy, easygoing life filled with laughter, love, and time spent with family and friends. Lillian found joy in the simple pleasures—casting a line while fishing, sipping a cold Coca-Cola or sweet tea, and soaking up the sunshine at the beach. She especially enjoyed her time in Florida with her husband, Dennis, where they made many wonderful memories together at Cypress Cove Marina in Clermont. Her cat, Gracie, was her loyal companion and a constant source of comfort.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Lillian treasured her family deeply and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards with friends and sharing good conversations that always included plenty of smiles. Lillian will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit. Her easygoing nature and love of life brought happiness to all who knew her.
She is survived by her stepchildren; Amy (Vince) Graf, Florence (Patrick) Dean, and Dan (Heather) Martino, grandchildren; Gabe Graf, Cabrina (Trevor) Halvorson, Kelsey (Trevor) Anderson, Kendall (Grace) Martino, Keagan Martino (Kennedi Kahler), and great-grandchildren; Amelia Anderson, Kasen Anderson, Colt Halvorson, Remi Halvorson, and Beau Halvorson. She will also be dearly missed by the caring staff at Comforts of Home Nursing Home.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Martino; her parents, Charles and Thelma Anderson; siblings, Franky (Charles) Cornwell, Jack Anderson, and Jimmy Anderson.
A private celebration of Lillian’s life will be held by her family in Clermont, Florida.
O’Connell Family Funeral Homes is entrusted with cremation services.
