Lillian Kennedy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 1, 2025.
Lillian Clarice Ivey Kennedy was born February 8, 1943, in Jacksonville Florida. She was the only child of Norine Trammell Ivey and Harold Bertram Ivey. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, and the University of North Florida with a Masters degree in Exceptional Student Education and Administration. She held various positions in Brevard, Hillsborough, and Putnam Counties as well as the Northeast Florida Educational Consortium and the Florida Department of Education. She always enjoyed teaching and conducting teacher workshops. She sang in church choirs, loved tap dancing and painting with watercolors. Her joy was knowing many friends and family members hung her paintings in their homes. She is survived by husband Roy Clayton Kennedy, daughter Amy Waterman and husband Rob, son Christopher Kennedy and wife Candi and her precious grandson Clayton Perry Kennedy. Clarice's family has planned a private service. Donations in her honor to SAFE pet rescue of St. Augustine are appreciated.
