In 1967 she married Lealand Neeck and joyfully took on the role of mother to his five children. She was a 4H leader, member of the Fifield VFW Auxiliary, Price County Historical Society, Peace Lutheran Church (where she also taught Sunday School), Lutheran Ladies, and numerous local clubs. Lillian was a nature lover who always admired the beauty of the forests, rivers, crystals, flowers, and wildlife. She enjoyed genealogy, crafts, quilting, knitting, and traveling-including memorable trips to Europe, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand, and Holland. She especially loved Christmas, poetry, and above all, being a grandmother. She is survived by her three children: Linda (David) Smith, David (Laurie) Neeck, and Connie Neeck; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her brother Carl Spiller, two sisters; Mary (Doug) Vana, Betsy Lane; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first and second husbands, two children; James Neeck and Marlene Schmidt, two grandsons Mitchell Weinberger and Andrew Neeck, three siblings; Richard Spiller, Della Boyington and an infant sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Peace Lutheran Church in Park Falls. Pastor Samual Morsching will officiate. Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery.
