Lillian E. Pappas, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was born on November 3, 1935, in New York, New York to her parents Anthony and Antoinette. Lillian passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family with love, a testament to the bonds she cultivated throughout her life. Her gentle spirit and unwavering strength touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her, and her legacy will continue to shine brightly through the lives she influenced.

Lillian dedicated her life to nurturing others, devoting many years as a Nurses Assistant at the Half Hollow Hills School District. Her compassion for her students marked her as a beacon of light in their lives; she embraced her profession with a warmth that made everyone feel seen and cared for.

Family was at the heart of Lillian’s life. She shared a deep bond with her loving husband of 66 years, Harry Pappas, with whom she journeyed through life's joys and challenges. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, support, and endless love.

Her children, Karen and her husband James Orrach, John and his wife Michelle Pappas, and Lori and her husband Jay McHugh, were not just her pride and joy; they were the reflection of her nurturing spirit. Lillian poured her heart into raising her children, instilling in them the values of compassion, integrity, and perseverance.

Lillian was also a doting grandmother to her grandchildren: JohnRyan, Jillian, Kristin, Tim, Madison, Cole, and Chris. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she took great delight in creating memories with them. Lillian’s presence will be dearly missed by them all.
