Lillian "Jean" Reiterman,84, of Sandusky and previously of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away after a lengthy battle with Dementia. Jean was born January 17th, 1941, to the late William and Ruth Royer (Dietrich) in Bowling Green, Ohio. Jean was a stay-at-home mom until her children were teenagers. She then went on to work at the USCO Outlet Store in Erie Industrial Park in Port Clinton. There she met many people from all over the United States that would come to the area yearly and shop at the store to buy their favorite Redwing, or Keds shoes and boots. She continued working there until the stores closing. She then went to work at the office until her retirement in 2006. It was at USCO where she met the love of her life Dave. They later married in 1996, built a home together where Dave passed away May 6th, 2008. Jean continued living there until her diagnosis and moved out in 2016. She lived with her daughter Terri until 2018 when she was admitted into the care at The Commons of Providence in Sandusky, she resided there for three and a half years then admitted into Providence Care Center.

Jean was loved by everyone she met; she always had a smile, a laugh, and a big hug. She loved her friends, neighbors, and co-workers, but most of all she loved and adored her children and grandchildren. She loved working in her yard, especially in her flower bed. She enjoyed gambling and traveling. She is survived by her children who loved her so much, and will miss her terribly, sons Joseph (Martha) Deak Jr. and Danial (Sue) Deak of Port Clinton, daughters Tamara Homler (Art Lester) of Clyde, and Theresa Deak of Port Clinton. She was the proud grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother to many. A brother James (Karen) Royer of Sylvania, sister-in-law Claudia Royer of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Jack (Ida) Royer of Toledo, and David of Michigan. Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, along with her loving husband Dave and their faithful companion Nova.

The family would like to thank the nurses at both the Commons and Providence Care Center for their wonderful care, Stein Hospice for providing such wonderful care and compassion and Sister Peg Bishop for going to visit mom for two years and most of all for loving her and delivering her eulogy. The family is requesting any memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Stein Hospice. Per Jean's wishes she was cremated and laid to rest with her husband Dave and their dog Nova. Jean will be missed by so many, but especially her children and grandchildren.

Private services were held. Interment: Rusha Cemetery. Robinson Walker Funeral Home assisitng the family with arrangments.
