LILLIAN R. SCHIMMER

94, Lillian (Lil) Ruth Schimmer of Lynnwood, WA passed away peacefully of natural causes Sun. April 11th, 2021. Lillian was born in Norway, MI Oct. 18, 1926. She was one of 7 siblings, the third youngest. She moved to Seattle at 19 and met her future husband, Marland (Marly) on a blind date. They married in Oct. 1947. She worked at PNW Bell for over 33 years, retiring in 1983. She loved bowling and dancing, always a smile on her face. She loved her family and entertaining. She is survived by daughters Carol (Leonard) Evans, Ladera Ranch, CA and Kay (Steve) Grigg, Lynnwood, WA. Grandchildren Craig Evans; Brett (Jennifer) Evans; Jamie (Quinn) Kuhnhausen and Ginger (Jeff) Barry. Brother, Donald Anderson (Roxanne) MI and sister-in-law, Irene Tack. She has 1 great granddaughter and 8 great-grandsons, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Marly in Jan. 1998 after 50 years of marriage and by all her other siblings.
