Lillian Y. Senese, 98, of Hamden and formerly of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Whitney Rehabilitation Center in Hamden. She was born in Wallingford on January 24, 1927, to the late Bartholomew and Mary (Serafin) Cassello.
Lillian was employed for many years by Union Trust Bank in Wallingford, before retiring and spending winters in Hollywood, FL. While in Hollywood she had the opportunity to be an extra on the set of the movie Cape Fear, which brought her great joy. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection in Wallingford, and a member of the Polish American Club of Hollywood, FL.
Lillian is survived by her daughters, Donna Senese of Wallingford and Jackie Senese and her husband, William Clark of Chattanooga, TN; her granddaughters, Amanda Clark Rudd and Erica Clark; and 4 great-grandsons. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, John A. Senese, her sister Lucile Torello, and brother Albert Cassello.
Interment in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Wallingford, will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
