Lillian R. Smith, 74, of Marion, Indiana, went home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 12, 2026. She was born in Marion, Indiana on October 9, 1951, to the late Garnet Smith and Rudy and Wayne E. Sprowl.
Lillian is survived by her sister, Sharon (Gordon) Hoheimer, and niece, Shannon Wallace.
She was preceded in death by her parents and younger sister, Gloria M. Woodcock.
There will be no service as Lillian will be cremated.
Our family wishes to thank Wyndmoor Assisted Living for their care and kindness to Lillian. She loved you all. Also thank you to Marion Health staff and doctors, which include the Critical Care Department and 3 West, Rick Jeffries of Social Services, and Able Hands HHC Staff.
