Lillie Lorene Releford Young age 87 of Pisgah, AL. died Sunday, August 17, 2025 at her residence surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services are Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 2 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Elder Ben Barrentine and Bro. Sam Rollins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday and 11 am until service time on Wednesday.

Lillie was born September 3, 1938 in Jackson County, Alabama to parents, William Bert and Myrtle Smith Releford. She was a dedicated housewife and mother who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She took great pride in her garden and loved old gospel music and sang the hymns until her last days.

Survivors include daughter, Jackie Hairston(Paul), sons, David Young(Marie), Billy Young(Jennifer), Charles Young(Marilyn), Tommy Young(Michelle), grandchildren, Jared Edwards, Vanity Young(Andy), Bradley Young(Cindy), Brittany Rimas(Jacob), Brandon Young, LaSondra Poe(Clay), Angela Averette(Michael), Jody Neeley(Christy), Jason Horton, Keith Horton, Andy Horton, along with a host of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hugh Henry Young, son, Ricky Dale Young, sisters, Annie Lou Wright, Ruth Foshee, Lula Thurmond, brothers, Grady Releford, Tom Ed Releford, William Releford and Wayne Releford.

The siblings want to give special recognition to, Charles Young for his unwavering dedication to fulfilling his promise to take care of our mom. Also to Marie Young, Marilyn Young and Michelle Young who unselfishly gave their time and attention to help us take care of mom. You surely showed what TRUE LOVE IS, . . .
