Lily A. Buffington, age 4, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 28, 2011. Lily captured the heart of everyone and was loved by all who knew her. Lily was a smart, energetic, beautiful, sweet, loving little girl with spunk. Lily was a big sister to Destiny whom she loved with all her heart. She would play, dance, sing and run with Destiny. Lily attended Lowell's Development Center and enjoyed her teachers and made many friends. She was an active member of Holy Ghost Parish, especially while sitting in the pew at mass. Lily will be truly missed and she will always be loved by all of us. She was a little angel. Lily is survived by her mother, Vanessa Buffington; her father, Daniel D’Arcangelis-Elton; her sister, Destiny Saiz; her great-grandmas, Minnie LeBlanc and Patricia Shook and her husband, John; her grandparents, Frank and Lenore Buffington and Mary Anne D’Arcangelis and Gary Elton; her tia, Nicole and her husband, J.J. Lovato; aunt, Rachael D’Arcangelis-Elton; uncle, Tim D’Arcangelis-Elton; her great-aunts, Dianne LeBlanc,Yvette Reinsel and her husband, Darryl, Patty Marino and her husband, William, Sherry Arbach and Peggy Fario; and great-uncles, Dennis LeBlanc and his wife, Lita, Earl LeBlanc and his wife, Michelle. Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2011, 6:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel, followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 4, 2011, 12:00 noon, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
