In Loving Memory of Mrs Lily K Chan
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lily Kit Ming Chan, who left this world on April 19, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Lily was born on July 28, 1958, in China, and later made her home in Alamo, California.
Lily was a beloved wife to Alan Wong and a cherished sister to Doris and her husband Check. She was also a loving sister-in-law to Emily, and a doting aunt to her nieces Janet, Sharon, Cindy, and Diana, as well as her nephew Frank. Lily's kindness, compassion, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.
Known for her caring nature and empathetic soul, Lily was always there to support and uplift those around her. She had a passion for traveling, finding peace through meditation, and expressing her love through the delicious dishes she cooked and baked for her loved ones.
In honor of Lily's memory, a ceremony will be held on May 5, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Memorial donations or flowers can be made to the American Cancer Society, a cause that was close to Lily's heart. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at Ming Yuan Restaurant in Daly City.
Lily will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
As Maya Angelou once said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Lily's impact on those around her will never be forgotten.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories she created during her time on earth.
