Lily Lynn Cottom

Taylorsville, UT- Lily Lynn Cottom passed away on March 24, 2024 at the tender age of 6. She brought immense joy and love to everyone who knew her and her departure has left a profound void in our lives.

Lily was born on March 10, 2018 in Salt Lake City, UT to Stephanie and Kelvin Cottom. Lily was a bright and vivacious child with an infectious laughter that could light up any room. Her curious nature and boundless energy were a constant source of delight to her family and friends. She had a special talent for bringing smiles to the faces of those around her, and her kindness and compassion knew no bounds.

Lily will be deeply missed and is survived by her parents; her twin, Logan (who loved his sissy); her grandparents, Lisa and Stevie, Berlynn; her great grandparents, Charlotte Starks and Shirley Bellamy; her aunts and uncles, Marcus (Jessica), Brianna, Hayward (Tesha) and Lynn (Tony); and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her brother, Isaiah. Though her time on this earth was brief, the impact she made will be cherished forever in the memories of those who loved her.

A viewing will be held at the McDougal Funeral Home on Saturday, March 30th from 10:30 AM to 12 PM and Lily's celebration of life will be held at the same location at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests assistance through GoFundMe for medical and funeral expenses for Lily at https://gofund.me/6517c004 and donations to be made to Shriners Children's Hospital and the Primary Children's Hospital, in honor of Lily.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in knowing that Lily is now resting peacefully in the arms of angels, forever young and forever loved. May her beautiful spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us with love and inspiration until we meet again.
