Lily Joyce Kahrimanian, 17, of Fresno, CA, left this earth and entered heaven on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025.
She is survived by her parents, Jill and Ara Kahrimanian, her older sister Grace Kahrimanian and her younger brother Ben Kahrimanian. She is also survived by her grandparents Joyce and Robert Markarian, her grandma Nancy Kahrimanian, her aunt and uncle, Jennifer and Kurt Peters, her aunt and uncle, Gail and Matthew Markarian and many, many cousins, relatives and dear friends. She is also survived by the family dog, Chip, and the family cat, Violet, both whom she lovingly referred to as "ugly and stinky."
Lily was born on October 30, 2007, to Jill and Ara Kahrimanian, at Clovis Community Hospital. She attended Figarden Elementary, Manchester GATE Elementary, Computech Middle School and Fresno Christian High School. She was blessed to be poured into by outstanding teachers at every school she attended. She was a high academic achiever and a "model" student. She also had incredible teachers and mentors at The Bridge Church, people who loved on her with the love of Jesus. Lily is talented in so many ways. She especially enjoyed reading, cooking, photography and art.
Due to her love of art and museums, she aspired to be a museum curator and wished to eventually attend college in the greater Los Angeles area where there are many museums. She was an amazing artist herself, expressing her creativity not only through various art mediums, but also through taking candid photos and through cooking and baking in the kitchen. She was quite ambitious with her baking, taking on recipes even her own mother couldn't manage. Her staples were fried eggs, pancakes and mug cakes.
Lily entered this world a very peaceful child, an unusually quiet baby. She hardly ever cried, but around age two, she found her voice. She was funny, a bit spicy and somewhat territorial. Her dad lovingly teased her with the name "Voodoo Mama Juju" (a reference to The Office) and her mom began to call her "Silly Lily." The jokester of the house, but in a subtle way. She made everyone laugh, from funny dress-up outfits to wearing slime on her face as a beard. Teenage years were quieter again, but she still had that spunk and quick wit. People who know Lily would say she made them feel loved, comforted, seen and not judged. She is trustworthy and a good listener, a "safe space." Many felt she has a warmth about her that made them feel calm and carefree. She made people feel loved through her hospitality and her perfectly thought out gifts. They love her sense of humor, her sense of style, her loyalty to friendships, and her ability to create inside jokes. One of her closest, long time friends recounts going on adventures with Lily and being impressed by how brave she was to try everything. Most people appreciate how genuine, thoughtful and creative she was and is.
Her siblings love her as well, of course mixed with the usual sibling rivalry. They spent time watching shows and movies together and teasing each other nonstop. Their banter was witty and somewhat ridiculous, usually ending in bursts of laughter. Her brother Ben loves her funny spirit and thinks her laugh was one of a kind. He loved it when she would take him somewhere fun after school like McDonald's or Retro Junction. Her sister Grace would say that Lily means more to her than anyone else in her life. They are kindred spirits, often exchanging ideas, music, books, movies and snacks. Among many things about Lily, a few that Grace will miss are her mischievous eyes, her absurd laugh and her cheap-box-dyed-red hair. Grace loved her sister from the moment she was born and she always will.
Lily's memory will forever be cherished by her family and the friends she made at school, at church and through family connections.
The Kahrimanian family requests that any donations to honor Lily be made to Reading Heart, or to your favorite museum, church or charity. There will be a Celebration of Life service on March 1, 2025, at 11:00 am at The Well Community Church - Clovis Campus, which is located at 325 Nees Ave, Clovis, CA 93611.

I was Lily´s second grade teacher at Manchester GATE. The first time I met Lily was at the Ice Cream Social. When she walked into Room 9, her smile lit up the whole room. She wasn´t only beautiful on the outside, but the inside too.
Lily was every Teacher´s Dream Student. She was always happy with a positive attitude, friends with everyone, eager to learn, never complained or got upset, enjoyed helping others, responsible, and self motivated with the most caring heart.
I will forever be grateful for being Lily´s Second Grade teacher. Lily´s life was a true blessing, and her memory will forever be a source of inspiration.
My thoughts and prayers are with the whole Kahrimanian family.
With caring thoughts,
Mrs. Nakamura (Jill )

I only met Lily's mother, Jill in Bible study at Bridge Church. I'd enjoyed Jill's serene kindness. Seems Lily gained this trait from her mom; and I know I would have lived meeting her. My love and prayers go to Lily's family.
