Lily Poon Obituary
graduate and was of the Christian faith. For many years Lily was self employed as an entrepreneur in Hong Kong and later as a co-owner of her family restaurant in Florida. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking
and reading.
Lily will be remembered as a loving Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. Her children have called her the most beautiful mom in the world and are grateful for the sacrificial love and care she gave them as a single mom.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Elizabeth and (Paul [deceased]) Cheng, Rose and Clifford Chin, and Jack and Yvonne Kwon.
Grandchildren: Jonathan and Timothy Cheng, Justin Chin and Tiffany Shin, and Jacquelyn and Jack Kwon, Jr. Great Grandchildren: Claire, Ella, and Zachary Cheng, and Zara Shin. Brothers: Chuck, Sonny, Paul, and John Poon. Sister: Helena Hui.
The family will have a graveside service on November 11. 2023, 9:30AM at Greenlawn Cemetery 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in honor of Lily Poon to Via Health Partners, Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region. PO Box 470408 Charlotte, North Carolina 28247.

Aunt Lily will always be remembered as one of the kindest people I know. She always had a smile on her face. She would always ask how me and my siblings and family were doing and she would always ask by their names. Even though there was a little language barrier with us, she would always ask and listen. She was a hard working lady. I remembered working with her at China House when i was about 15 or 16 and she was working hard cooking in the hot kitchen with a towel around her neck. She will be missed, but never forgotten and her legacy will live on with her three wonderful children and family members. I love and miss you Auntie.
