Lin Amaker Obituary
Born in Orangeburg, S.C., to Lin and Carolyn Amaker, Lin graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in 1993 and attended South Carolina State University. He built a successful career in food services with Prisma Health through the Compass Group.
In 2015, he married Davina Smith, and together they raised their son, Micah, age 10.
Lin is survived by his parents; his wife, Davina; and son, Micah; his sisters; brothers-in-law; sister-in-law, parents-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday, January 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home, with viewing Sunday, January 11, 3 to 5 p.m. Burial will follow at North Orangeburg United Methodist Church Cemetery.

My prayers and thoughts are with the family as you grieve the loss of Lin. Carolyn I am loss for words to you. God is so ever present and one of His promises is to never leave you. Look to the hill which comes help and know that God is your strength. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Be comforted, knowing Lin is absent from the body, but present with the LORD. No more pain and no more worries.
