Linda Diane Acklin Garcia

Funeral services for Linda Diane Acklin Garcia, 75, will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 307 Hammond St., Zwolle, Louisiana. A burial will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, Louisiana with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Father Keith Garvin.

Linda was born on April 2, 1949 to Millard Lynell Acklin and Winnie Mae Procell Acklin in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on August 14, 2024 in Many, Louisiana.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Winnie Acklin; grandparents, Sam and Pollie Procell; and brothers, Jason Acklin and Keith Acklin. She is survived by her husband, Barry Garcia of Zwolle, Louisiana; sisters, Rene Trevino of Zwolle, Louisiana, Kae Jeter of Zwolle, Louisiana, and Gaile George and husband, James, of Ebarb, Louisiana; brothers, Ansel Acklin and wife, Terri, of Zwolle, Louisiana and Kavin Acklin and wife, Tammy, of Converse, Louisiana; aunt, Maudie Procell Woodruff; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honoring Linda as pallbearers will be Jase Acklin, Lance Acklin, Aaron George, Austin Hoffpauir, Callen Hoffpauir, Gavin Hoffpauir, Nick Jeter, and Reed Jeter.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Sabine Retirement and Rehab for taking good care of Mrs. Linda Garcia and also to Allegiance Hospice, Laura Farmer, and Linda Dockens for the extraordinary care they provided.
